Symposium Context
Theme: “Vulnerability ─ A Strength or a Weakness?”
Is vulnerability a skill leaders must possess and demonstrate, or can it stunt their careers? How can leaders who demonstrate vulnerability emerge stronger. This raises a related question: Which is more important for leaders—authenticity or showmanship? Or both?
Leadership is of paramount importance to organizational progress. Yet, leadership development can get relegated behind operational pressures. Developing leadership skills is essential to accelerating career growth at every level.
Symposium Format
Our symposiums are intensive discussions between speakers and attendees, with the goal of having 80% of attendees contribute. It is an ambitious goal, but when we achieve it, it creates a special experience.
At the Houston Strategy Forum, we facilitate a closed-door, no-press, Chatham House Rule safe zone for candid discussions. Real discussions. No fluff. No speeches. No PowerPoints.
