Detailed Description
Theme: “Life Fulfillment and Significance”
Conclave Context
Life is the most precious asset we have, and yet we live life by default. We do not develop a strategy for it.
Why do we do that? Why do we not build a strategy for our most precious asset?
We all seek fulfillment, significance, and satisfaction. In everything we do — whether it is work, family, or other activities, we are constantly looking for fulfillment, significance, and satisfaction. We strive all our lives, and yet often find what we are looking for to be elusive.
If we do not understand the thoughts and actions we have, we cannot truly begin to understand how we will find fulfillment. What does fulfillment really mean to us? What is the significance that we seek?
Unless we understand ourselves, we cannot answer these questions. The answers are unique and special to every individual. One person's fulfillment is not another person's fulfillment.
If everyone's fulfillment and significance are different, personal to each of us, then how do we find what that really means? Where do we go looking for those answers? How do we make our lives meaningful?
We are living life by default — as if we are in blind frenzy. Many of us spend years and decades doing things — that on the surface we think we want — but they do not add to our fulfillment or satisfy our need for significance. Often dictated by outside circumstances and events, life simply slips through our fingers.
Is that what we want?
How do we build a strategy for life? What is it that we truly want? How do we make sure that we have the best life we can have?
