Kim Denney, Partner, Newport Board Group and former Chief Administrative Officer and President, Air Liquide

Kim is an experienced Houston area leader with a record of solving top-level problems as an executive with broad responsibilities in the Ch

She has 30 years of increasing responsibility in Operations, Sales, and Corporate Functions culminating in General Management with a multi-billion dollar international company, Air Liquide, in roles as President and Chief Administrative Officer. In these positions she focused on Strategy, Risk Management, Governance and Succession Planning.

Kim has driven organic growth, successful acquisitions and achieved millions in savings through cost-cutting, divestitures, integrations and efficiency projects. Her work with Boards, both as a trusted advisor guiding organizations toward stretch goals, and receiving advice and council from others, has taught her the cost of failing to challenge the status quo and the significant business value that comes from bringing in new perspectives.

Ron Farmer, CEO, US LED

Ron Farmer is the CEO of US LED. Ranked among Houston’s Top 100, Fast Tech 50, and Inc. 5000 for five years in a row, US LED has grown revenues more than 70% for each of the last ten years, and is headed to end 2011 with revenues approaching $50 Million.

Mr. Farmer’s goal from the beginning was to develop products that produce the most light using the least power per dollar of cost to the end user. Under his leadership, US LED has achieved a milestone few businesses achieve — $1 Million in revenues per employee.
